How does a Car Rental service work?

The way in which a car rental service works is actually very straightforward.  If you would like to rent a car, you simply decide on the type of car that you like and for how long you would like to rent it.  However, before taking the car into your possession, you must provide the car rental company with all your personal information, among which is your valid credit card information and your physical address.  Car rental prices vary according to the type and size of car rented.  Your credit card will be charged for every day that the car is rented out.  If your needs are such that you need to rent a car for longer than a month, you can insist on a special offer that will lower the ultimate car rental cost.  You may also choose to buy temporary car insurance from the car rental company.  At the end of the car rental service agreement, the car should be returned to the car rental company.  Any damage not covered by the insurance must be paid for by you.

Car rentals are available in various locations.  Most major vacation areas offer car rental services.  Car rental services can also be found near hotels, airports, and entertainment areas.  You will in all likelihood need to rent a car while on vacation or simply traveling for business.
